 Veterans in crisis may show behaviors that indicate a risk of self-harm. Know the warning signs: 

• Appearing sad or depressed most of the time; 
• Hopelessness; feeling like there’s no way out; 
• Anxiety, agitation, sleeplessness, or mood swings; 
• Feeling as if there is no reason to live; 
• Feeling excessive guilt, shame, or sense of failure

Chayah provides mental and behavioral health interventions that are evidence-based and trauma-informed, including: counseling, equine assisted psychotherapy and learning, therapeutic riding, crisis intervention, accommodations and hospitality for weekend intensives (2-3 day outpost experience), life skills coaching, EMDR, CBT, DBT, and special events to encourage community integration. 

Veterans and their families can enter our program provided they can provide the necessary validation paperwork.
