Equine Therapy Giving Program

Lady Bug is a miniature horse, but believes she belongs with the big horses and pals around with two full sized mares instead of the other mini horses. She loves to show off and will do what we call her "22 laps". She will just randomly take off running with her tail high in the air and prancing. Children love her. She is gentle and loves people if they show they are kind. 

Rei  is a 16 year old quarter horse mare. She makes a great therapy horse because a person who picks her really has to work at gaining her trust. She is a no nonsense working horse who loves to have a job and loves working with people and will take care of whomever she bonds with.

Angel is truly an angel. She is extremely empathetic and is a popular choice as a therapy horse. She was an endurance racing horse, but now gets spoiled at Chayah while doing a great job with military veterans and at-risk youth.

Mariah is one of the most chosen horses in our program. She enjoys her job and loves being with people, especially those struggling with depression. 

Dakota is a young tri-color paint who has a colorful personality. He would climb into a person's lap, if the person would let them. He has worked primarily with at-risk youth and is very good at getting them to open up about their emotions.

Morelia is a beautiful sensitive quarter horse mare who has done some amazing work with young women and children who have suffered sexual trauma including human trafficking. She is very sensitive to their pain.
