Cowboy Camps serve many things from the chuckwagon, but the most favorite is cowboy chili. The chili was full of flavor. It was hard for our chili judges to choose, but the winners were: 

1st Place went to Wesley Luckie from Austin

and

2nd Place went to Kathryn Cavender from Missouri City. Katheryn is the reigning TICC world champion.

 Gayle Brittain is in the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Texas Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Fort Worth and has won numerous prizes and awards throughout her rodeo career. But being a certified Equine Specialist and working with people who suffer from mental, physical and behavioral issues is what she feels is her greatest honor. She presented a video on human trafficking and provided an equine therapy demo with volunteers from the crowd.

Luke won a horse head scarf and cowboy game called "run cowboy run" and Crista won a gift card from South Texas Tack

Noodle Horse Race - Too many to mention. It was precious to watch all the kids racing with the noodle horses they made.

Horse Power Equine Therapy Demo

Participants reported that they felt the reality of the connection with the horses and felt they discovered things about themselves through the process. One participant stated, "I was really amazed the horses reactions to our emotions and how they brought them to light without us even saying a word."
